Michael A. Espinosa

Michael A. Espinosa brings publication of his father's book Trail of the Espinosa Outlaws, to light. This is the family’s fictionalized version of what happened 1857 to 1863. It contains a clear representation of life in Colorado in that time period when atrocities were committed by the land-seeking Americanos after the war with Mexico. Espinosa graduated college in 1975 and then attended law school at the University of Denver. He married the love of his life, Joanne M. Bockheim in 1984. Together, they have one daughter, Rachel Anne Espinosa. Michael was the Director of the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) serving Huerfano and Las Animas Counties, and later serving Pueblo County, until his retirement in 2014. He volunteered for several years for Pueblo United Way as a mentor and continues to work for the Pueblo Office of Colorado Legal Services as a Pro Bono Attorney, with Emeritus Status in Grandparent and Step-Parent Adoptions.
