Felisa Hernandez
Felisa Hernandez, known artistically as LatinSoul, is a Colorado-based vocalist, author, visionary storyteller, and one of Colorado’s top Latin female vocalists. Raised between Denver, Colorado and Chihuahua, Mexico, her bicultural upbringing deeply influences her music, writing, and creative voice. Trained under Dr. Scott Martin, Felisa has spent decades using music, storytelling, and live performance to bridge culture, consciousness, healing, and community.
Autistic and dyslexic, Felisa experiences creativity through imagery, emotion, and intuition first — often seeing her stories and music visually before writing them into existence. Her work blends reflective literature, spirituality, consciousness, and lived experience into a deeply personal artistic language that resonates with diverse audiences.
Her debut book, Waking Up From Ego, explores awareness, identity, healing, and the journey from survival to consciousness. In addition to her work as an author, Felisa continues to create and perform original music under the name LatinSoul alongside her son and producer, Isaac Herrera, whose production work helps shape the signature LatinSoul sound — a fusion of soul, Latin rhythms, spoken word, and storytelling designed to create transformative live experiences.
Her book is currently available exclusively through live performances and community events.
