David Atekpatzin Young
Atekpatzin is a Spiritual Leader and Curandero of the Apache Nation of Colorado. He grew
up in the Chicano Movement and has been an advocate for Indigenous, Chicano, and
Queer rights over the course of his life. He studied with Apache, Chicano, GenÃzaro, Lakota
and Mexica traditional healers. He holds a Master’s degree in Ethnic Studies. Atekpatzin
is an author of several books, an independent scholar, an artist, a musician and music
producer.
