Donald Martinez 

Don Martinez is a senior correspondent with Lima Charlie News and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of Lima Charlie Media. Don is a retired US Army Field Artillery officer living in Colorado Springs, CO. He is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom with two combat deployments to Iraq where he earned his Combat Action Badge. Don is a former Presidential Management Fellow with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and a volunteer with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Management in Colorado where he responded as an emergency manager during the Waldo Canyon Wildfire and the Black Forest Wildfire.

Don is a Peer Mentor with the Veterans Trauma Court and a former congressional candidate for Colorado’s 5th Congressional district.

Don has a Bachelor of Science in Ethnic and Cultural Studies from Excelsior College, a Masters in Management with a concentration in Homeland Security from Colorado Technical University, and an Executive Certificate in Public Leadership from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Don is also a member of the Truman National Security Project’s Defense Council.
